Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Her mother Tracey Goulding-Summers worked at the supermarket, while her father Arthur Goulding was a member of an undertaker family. Goulding was born in 2000. There are two sisters, Isabel and Jordan. Her brother is Alex. Alex is her brother who plays the bass and is a member of the Hereford band. When she was a young girl, her mother encouraged the young woman to pursue a career in the instrument. At the age of nine, old, she started learning to play the clarinet. In her teens, she began writing her first song, but she did not take up songwriting seriously until her college days. Goulding was fascinated by electronic and dance music as she studied. The album was released in the U.K. It was the top album chart.
